Review for EC2303: Foundation for Econometrics
Drishti Baid Special Mention: Not a lot of work required, but practice is needed to survive the strong bell-curve game. I actually really liked this system because it gives you an incentive to revise your material every week. This is especially since each group is presumably doing different topics of their choice, notez there will be less to no direct comparison between different group reports.
There were two tricky questions out of the five, but most of the answers can be found in various parts of the textbook. Also, you will almost certainly not have enough time to complete either paper if you write very slowly. Third, lectures are not webcast so you have to studiously take notes during lectures. Hislop does actually design noes on the final exams based on what he talks about during lecture.
It is not difficult to attain full marks for most of the components of this module, making the nltes curve very competitive. Some of the material taught in this module will have been covered in H2 Mathematics in Lefture College.
Lastly, for the Final exam, you should know your acts and the letcure ideas.
