It’s a 64 voice sampler with 4 MB sampling expandable to MB. Did you just connect the leads of the flash drive to the wiring that once connected in the floppy drive? Four ezi audio outputs with integral submix returns allow you to process certain sounds separately and return them to the main outputs without using up precious mixer channels.

Can you just pop a cd in your computer and see the filenames, or is it a completely different structure than fat32 or whatever. If you’re not dealing with janual and even if you areI’d suggest sampling sounds straight into the ESI instead of transferring them.

I’ve got a macbook pro, so no floppy drive and no esi2win software or whatever it is called. Using stereo bussing on instruments which are simply panned mono is a waste of otherwise usable outputs.
Having lots of fun triggering it with the Machine Drum as well. I think I used to use soundforge to do it when I had an esi2k. Anyone know if I got a bad batch of disks or if there’s something wrong with the sampler? dsi

Repeat the process for channels 3 and 4 stereo or mono. SPDIF, of course, requires an audio interface or mixer with digital input, and the FX jack requires a y-splitter of the same type as Sub 2 and Sub 3, so the cabling requirements are slightly different. I also agree about the awesome filters, rock solid performance i only had one sample get corrupted and it was because someone tripped over the sampler while it was saving and great sound.

ESI also contains advanced tools such as Auto Correlation, Loop Compression and Crossfade Looping which allow even the most difficult sounds to be easily looped. The ESI can access up to samples per bank arranged in up to presets. The guy I bought the sampler off of has a ton of cds.
You can also send wav files to the sampler from your pc using a scsi cable.
